Largest Open Sea Scout Group in UK (2008)

Census 2008

In 2008 we are still the largest Open Sea Scout Group in the UK.

We are the 5th largest Scout Group (including Open and Sponsored; Land, Sea and Air) in the UK.

7th Epsom are part of Epsom and Ewell District which is part of Surrey County in England. They have 4 Beaver Colonies, 3 Cub Packs and 1 Scout Troop (100 Scouts!). They are Land Scouts.

5th Penwortham are part of South Ribble District which is part of West Lancashire County in England. They have 3 Beaver Colonies, 3 Cub Packs and 3 Scout Troops. They are Land Scouts.

8th Norwich are part of Eastern Norwich District which is part of Norfolk County in England. They have 2 Cub Packs and 2 Scout Troops. The Group is sponsored by Norwich School and membership of boys is restricted to members of the School. Membership is open to girls subject to space. They are Sea Scouts and RN Unit 26.

1st Crowborough are part of Ashdown District which is part of East Sussex County in England. They have 3 Beaver Colonies, 3 Cub Packs and 2 Scout Troops. They are Land Scouts.
