Good luck to Craig Wilton who
has been chosen to represent the South East region of The Duke of
Edinburgh's Award in the annual Golden Putter
Stableford Golf Competition.
Each of the 10 regions across Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and
England send two finalists from their regional heats.
Craig has gone straight
through to the final which is being held at Wentworth Golf Club on 21 July.
To play you must be aged 14-25 years, with a handicap of 28 or better for young men and 36 or better for young women
You must be a participant in The Duke of Edinburgh's Award or the holder of a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award, and be under 25 years on 21 July 2006.
The competition has been running for
15 years.
It was inaugurated when Wentworth marked the opening of the new Edinburgh Course at the club by handing the golden putter to the patron, the Duke of Edinburgh. |
