Summer Camp 2012 |

This year's Summer Camp will be held at
Longridge from Sunday 29th July
to Friday 3rd August. You must
be under 18 on 3rd August to attend. We’ve avoided Saturdays so that those of you
with part-time jobs can attend. We will be camping on sites 20 and 21 by the sailing jetty.
Longridge is ideally situated on the banks of the River Thames just below Marlow - one of the most beautiful and sought after parts of the Thames Valley. Activities available include: bell boating, camp fire, climbing, crate stacking, dragon boating, giant swing, go karts, jacob’s ladder, kayaking, launch trip, leap of faith, open canoeing, power boating, rafting, rowing, sailing, water orbs, weir trip and much more. Construction of a million pound brand new training centre with modern toilet and changing facilities was completed last year. Other facilities onsite include The Ridge Café and free Wi-Fi. We appreciate that many of you will have been to Longrdige before but over three quarters of you have never been there on an Explorer Camp. We've given you examples of some of the activities available but haven't announced which one's we'll be doing yet or how much the Camp will cost. We're looking for volunteers to join the organising committee to help make these decisions and to make this camp different to any you've been on before.
