| Welcome to the website of Osprey Explorer Scout Unit. We are partnered with 8th Worthing Sea Scout Group in Worthing, West Sussex on the south coast of England. 8th Worthing was formed in 1928 and is recognised by the Royal Navy as Unit 59. 8th Worthing is the largest Open Sea Scout Group in the UK with 260 members. We have been registered with West Sussex County Council since June 1998 to deliver The Duke of Edinburgh's Award in Adur and Worthing. The Explorer Unit was formed in January 2002 when the new Explorer Scout Section was implemented by The Scout Association. The Unit currently has 37 invested Explorers and 3 Leaders. | |||||||||
